 Helen and Jeff are your Captains of The Jester, a modern 40 seat, fully licensed River Cruiser.
She has a timber panelled interior, padded chairs for comfortable cruising and full length panoramic tinted windows with uninterrupted views. Stand outside to breathe in the fresh air on the surrounding deck for a totally natural experience of the river.
Morning tea and lunch are provided on 3 hour cruises as you take in and contemplate the life of our grand old river. Tea, coffee, cake and fruit platter are included in your afternoon cruise.
We'll take you cruising through the beautiful reaches of the Murraylands, starting from Mary Ann Reserve at Mannum, birthplace of the Australian paddle steamer. See this historic town from the water and experience the relaxed lifestyle, seeing riverboats and paddle steamers in a timeless setting. Observe varied species of unique birdlife on the river's edge, flood plains and breeding grounds as we meander along. A favourite for bird spotters!
